Willo LAN is a non-for profit gaming group providing a fun, safe and friendly gaming environment for the Perth gaming community. Willo LAN has been running since September 2006 and runs its events roughly 4 times a year with events mainly running in the school holidays.
As mentioned, Willo LAN is a non-for profit gaming group run by volunteers that are passionate about gaming. The LAN events do have a small cost for its attendees to cover things link building hire etc and in this no money from this goes to the team running the event. Any revenue from our events is put directly back into our infrastructure and making the next Willo LAN a great success.
Willo LAN had its first LAN on the 29th & 30th September 2006. Our first event we had a total of 50 people come and it was such an exciting event. We ran a series of tournaments including Call of Duty 2, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament 2004 and Counterstrike Source. We are aiming to run approximately 4 LANs per year and run them in the school holidays to make them available for people of all ages.
